Hand packed concrete pools are by far the most popular type of pool, primarily because of concrete’s durability and aesthetic appeal. Concrete pools are purpose build to your need and we also refer to them as Designer Concrete pools. Thus meaning we build them according to your preferred shape, size and depth. Various Colours are also available.

Due to the fact that concrete only provides the actual structure the pool still needs to be waterproofed. Waterproofing can take place by means of marblite or fibreglass lining finish.

Marblite pools has a cement like finish and has a very natural look and feel. Designer concrete pools with a fibreglass finish are very popular due to the easy maintenance factor. You will literally take your hand and wipe clean. Fibreglass is a synthetic product and therefore very little can attack or damage the fibreglass. A fibreglass cloth mosaic are used with fibreglass and therefore it doesn’t have a very natural look and feel.

But by far are the better durable option.

Fibreglass Pre moulded Shell pools are manufactured with a fixed Shape, size and depth. What you see is what you get and not changeable

at all.

The non-porous surface of a fibreglass swimming pool reduces the risk of bacterial build-up and is hygienic and easy to clean and maintain. Installation is fast and effortless.

Thus making it a very popular option.
